Job Description

Accurately dispensing medications to patients based on prescriptions provided by healthcare providers.
Diluting and preparing oncology drugs and chemotherapy treatments according to established
protocols and guidelines.
Managing the inventory of pharmaceuticals, to ensure an adequate supply is maintained while minimizing waste and ensuring proper storage and labeling.
Providing patients with information about their medications
Conducting quality control checks on medications.
Working closely with healthcare professionals, including oncologists, nurses, and pharmacists, to ensure coordinated patient care and effective oncology treatment plans.

Qualifications

Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
Valid Pharmaceutical Technologist license as required by the Pharmacy and poisons Board
3 years of working experience in a busy hospital pharmacy
