People Operations Internship Vacancy

Twiga Foods is looking for an intern who will have the core responsibility of updating our internal database with new employee information like contact details and employment forms of the organization, as well as perform various administrative tasks and support the People Operations (HR) function’s daily activities.

In addition to gaining work experiences that have a direct impact to our business, they will also have the opportunity grow their professional network during this internship experience. Reporting to the People Operations Coordinator, this is an individual contributor role that will work collaboratively across the People Operations function to deliver expected results

Key Responsibilities

Data entry & Administration Support: 

  • Update our internal databases with new employee data including contact details and personal details forms.
  • Assist in physical to digital data migration of employee records for past and current employees.
  • Archive inactive documents and preserve them in line with regulatory provisions.
  • Perform various administrative tasks and support the People Operations function’s daily activities

Interview Coordination:

  • Posting job advertisements to our recruitment platforms
  • Working with our Design department to create a poster to be shared on all our social media platforms
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Removing job advertisements from our recruitment platform and social media platforms once vacancies have been filled.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college obtaining a bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Have a working knowledge of Ms Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be an inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long-term desire to work in the human resources space
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
  • Be self-assured, curious, willing to expand your boundaries and continue learning as you go
  • Be a self-starter with a high level of personal drive and resilience, with unquestionable integrity, confidentiality, and respect
  • Available to begin internship immediately
