Job Description

Reporting to the Network Administrator, the job holder will assist with the day-to-day management of Wide Area Network and Local Area Network.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assist Network Admin to manage network.
Assist in maintaining and administering security updates and policies across all hardware and software in networking environment.
Assist in administration and deployment of mobile devices includes tablets, phones, and laptops.
Assist with development, deployment, and integration of all network communication requirements for the LAN/WAN.
This includes routers, switches, firewalls, wireless and remote access networking components along with all software required to configure, operate, and manage these devices and the network as a whole.
Assist with investigating and repairing network system issues. Remediates critical issues while researching to provide permanent solutions; classifies, investigates, troubleshoots and diagnoses network problems until resolved.
Provides support for afterhours end users as needed.
Assist with administering email system and Active Directory which includes Group Policies, adding/removing users, mailboxes, and permissions.

Qualifications:

A University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University Strong Business and Financial Analytical skills
CCNA Certified

Essential skills

Knowledge of firewalls, network switches, and routers.
Ability to troubleshoot network related issues.
Knowledge of firewalls, network switches, routers and VoIP
