Job Description

  • Managing budget and financial issues
  •  Developing programme in accordance with partner(s) and hospital targets
  •  Verification and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to relevant stakeholders for project monitoring and evaluation
  •  Development of funding proposals
  •  Networking with other partners and stakeholders
  •  Ensuring there is capacity building of staff through CMEs and trainings for continuous knowledge and quality of care
  •  Attending the Hospital’s directorate meetings or any other meetings required to attend to discuss Hospitals issues
  •  Ensuring performance appraisal for staff in the department is done in a timely manner with guidance from the Human Resource department
  •  Working with the Human Resource to ensure recruitments for vacant positions are done
  •  Reviewing of performance of the targets as set by the donor/implementing partner ensuring strategies are put in place to achieve the targets
  •  Coordination of all MCCC Staff to deliver on project(s) outputs on time and within budget
  •  Developing annual workplans and budgets together with the finance and team leads

Required Qualifications for the Position

  •  Degree in a medical or social science field
  •  Management/Administration training
  •  3 years’ experience in program/healthcare management
  •  Experience in implementing HIV/AIDS, PMTCT, TB, RH, HTS, GBV programs including development of health facility-based service delivery and community-based care programs
