We are looking for a highly talented and passionate individual to contribute to our plant operations by ensuring we meet our operational efficiency objectives.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as laid down in the procedures/schedule or as may be directed by the maintenance supervisor.
- Perform Complex electrical and mechanical trouble shooting on machines, moulds, and plant utilities.
- Perform Autonomous maintenance & Condition monitoring on equipment.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Carry out all the types of maintenance as per laid down procedures with guidance from the line supervisor.
- Carry out SMED to ensure the mold changes on the injection and blow molding machines are done within the set durations.
- Carry out electrical works in the plant and in the whole organization.
- Update all the relevant job cards, logbooks, as required.
- Safety – routine inspection on machines/ equipment’s to detect any anomalies and correct.
- Carry out training on the operators to ensure the machines are operated as per the set SOPs to avoid accidents and damage to equipment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Blow molding machines maintenance will be an added advantage.
- In-depth proven practical knowledge and experience in areas of Electrical maintenance.
- Ability to demonstrate systematic approach to problem solving.
- Trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis and close out of corrective actions.
