Job Description

As a Human Resource Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our HR team by handling diverse tasks while gaining valuable experience. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, you'll contribute to various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to building a positive work culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates for open positions.
    • Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews for promising candidates.
    • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate information.
  • Onboarding & Employee Engagement:
    • Assist with onboarding new hires by preparing documentation, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth transitions.
    • Participate in orientation sessions, providing basic information on company policies, benefits, and culture.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a first point of contact for basic employee inquiries, directing complex issues to the HR Manager.
    • Assist with resolving non-complex employee concerns promptly and fairly.
    • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies regarding employee relations matters.
  • HR Administrative Support:
    • Assist with processing payroll data and maintaining accurate employee records.
    • Support with administrative tasks related to employee benefits, leave requests, and performance reviews.
    • Assist in preparation of HR and compliance reports.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Coordinate training sessions and track employee training progress.
    • Assist in developing training materials and resources for employee development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Member of IHRM
  • At least 2-years of experience in HR.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and familiarity with HRIS.
